This story is a great example of what traditional archery and hunting is all about. Traditional archery connects us back to the most natural and instinctive form of shooting and hunting. It also connects us to nature and the game we seek like no other method. Last, and most important, it connects us to each other and to our Creator.

In this story, a son builds a bow for his Father as a way to show his love and appreciation for his Father teaching him to hunt. He builds the bow out of old walnut lumber that his Father cut over twenty years earlier. This is a great example of why I’m proud to be part of the traditional archery community.
